Hello friend, my name is Jenna Terranova-Frisby and I love to help people, I always have.
I attended the University of Rhode Island and received my Bachelor's in Food Science & Nutrition. The food world fascinated me, especially food safety. My degree allowed me to work in the industry developing new food products while maintaining food quality and safety standards. I wanted to make sure that people always had nutritious and safe food on their tables. However, my career path soon took a very different direction.
I then attended Emerson College and received my Masters degree in Broadcast Journalism. Once again, my goal was to help people and keep them informed. I worked for 9 years at NBC 10 in Rhode Island where I was nominated for a regional Emmy award. My career was fullfilling ,but, once again it went into a new direction.
My mother was diagnosed with Breast Cancer and I had read how massage was often recommended as an additional treatment to conventional treatments. This is when I decided to become a massage therapist.
I graduated from the Community College of Rhode Island with an Associate in Applied Science degree in Therapeutic Massage. I then studied two months for the national certification exam which is the highest benchmark that massage therapists hope to obtain. In 2012, I became a nationally certified massage therapist licensed in the state of Rhode Island.
I feel that everyone benefits from basic touch whether it simply relaxes or provides relief from chronic aches and pains.
It would be my pleasure to offer you the benefits of massage. So please, feel free to check out my website and what I have to offer.
Peace to all,
Jenna
